Last updated 20 October 2026. This policy explains how Scrid handles information when you use the store, place an order, contact support, connect an account, or view advertising.
We collect the details you provide to create an account and make purchases, such as your name, email address, and order information. We also keep the product and option selected, payment status and transaction references, delivery records, support messages and attachments, and information needed to prevent fraud or resolve disputes. If you connect Telegram or use a referral link, we process the identifiers and activity needed for those features. Basic device, browser, and usage information may be recorded for security and store operation.
We use this information to run your account, verify payments, fulfil orders, provide customer support, operate team subscriptions and referrals, secure the store, and meet accounting or legal obligations. Where optional messages or features require consent, you can withdraw that consent through the relevant setting or by contacting us. We do not sell your personal information.
Payment providers, including Paystack where offered, handle payment details and send us the status and reference needed to confirm an order. We do not ask you to enter full card details into Scrid. Hosting, database, email, authentication, support, Telegram, and fulfilment providers may process the information necessary to deliver their services. A supplier may receive the minimum order details needed to fulfil a supplier-delivered product. These providers may operate outside Nigeria, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.
The store uses cookies or similar storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, and connect a referral to an order. We may use usage data to understand which store features work and to diagnose errors. You can control cookies in your browser, but blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or checkout.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to Scrid and other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to personalise ads where you have consented and applicable law permits. You can control personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. Where required, Scrid will request consent before advertising storage or personalised advertising is used. You can revisit the privacy choices offered on the site or contact us through the Contact page.
We keep information while it is needed to provide the service and for legitimate security, dispute, accounting, and legal purposes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where practicable. We use access controls and other safeguards for customer data; sensitive digital delivery details are protected and shared through limited-access links. No online service can promise absolute security, so please protect your account and report suspected misuse promptly.
You can ask us to access or correct your personal information, request deletion where available, object to or restrict certain processing, or disconnect optional integrations. Some information must be retained to complete orders, resolve disputes, or comply with law. Contact Scrid through the Contact page to make a request or raise a privacy concern. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority.
We may update this policy as the store changes. The current version and its update date will be available here. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
